EVALUATION AND ESTIMATE
I'll gladly come to your job site and discuss what you would like to see accomplished. Additionally, I’ll look for any surface problems, such as damaged plaster, nail holes or water stains, and determine the necessary steps required to provide a smooth paint ready surface. After a complete evalutions, I'll estimate the amount of time required to complete the project and then submit a detailed proposal in order to provide you with a complete understanding of the projects scope and to assist you in making a clear decision.
COLOR SELECTION
Studies have demonstrated the positive effects of color on the human spirit. Whether you want to create a relaxing study for reading and meditation, an upbeat kitchen for lively conversation or a clean fresh bathroom for morning revival, I'm more than happy to make color and surface treatment suggestion and to provide color samples to help assist you in making the right choices.
PREPARATION
Strandard Preparation Process: Furniture is either removed or placed in the center of the room and covered. Drop cloths are placed on the floor and horizontal surfaces. Wall, ceiling and door fixtures are removed if possible. Peeling areas are scraped if necessary. Repairs to drywall or plaster are made. Pior to any heavy sanding the work space is sealed off to avoid dust transfer to other areas. Sanding of rough or glossy surfaces is then done. Followed by vacuuming of floors and wiping of dust off walls and trim. Caulking of trim and windows is completed and sealing of any stains. Surfaces not slated to receive paint are masked. A primer coat is then applied to new surfaces or surfaces slated to receive a lighter color than what is currently on the walls and/or trim.

PAINTING
After thorough preparation has taken place, I’ll start applying paint. I apply paint in a steady, deliberate manner to assure even paint coverage, uniform color coating and a consistent texture that results in the highest quality finish. In almost all cases I'll apply two coats of paint. Once both coats are completed, I perform a thorough visual examination and then execute a final touch-up session if necessary.
CLEAN-UP
During a project, I keep my work space as neat as possible. When I'm finished the project area is left cleaner than I found it. I remove all drop cloths, tape, vacuum the floors and wipe dust off of unpainted surfaces. I then return all fixtures and face plates to there original locations. All furniture is then returned to it’s original location and extra paint is labeled and left in the location of your choosing.
DAILY/FINAL REVIEWS
In addition to daily interaction and progress reviews if desired, at the end of each project, I’ll do a walk-thru with you to determine if everything is completed to your satisfaction. If necessary, I’ll perform any final touch-up work necessary to assure complete and total satisfaction.
