QUIDING PRINCIPLE
“The object of art is not to reproduce reality, but to create a reality of the same intensity.”
____________– Albert Giacometti
NEW ENGLAND LANDSCAPE PAINTING
The wonders and beauty of New Hampshire are completely awe inspiring to me. I spent my first summer in New Hampshire on Lake Winnipesaukee in 1985 and have been in love with the ingredible beauty of New Hampshire and New England every since. I enjoy capturing the special places I see as I travel around and experience New England first hand. I like to capture “Open Air” expressions. I enjoy weather related moods, the play of light and shadows, the drama of colors, and most of all the challenge of capturing visual memories of special places for myself and for others.
